The purpose of this amendment is to extend the solicitation due date and time for Solicitation No. 36C24826Q0181. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 08 (NCO 08) hereby gives notice of the Government s intent to negotiate a sole source, Fixed-Priced Purchase Order with only one source Central Admixture Pharmacy Services, Inc. The Contractor shall provide a Total parenteral nutrition (TPN) IV admixture program for a period of performance of a base plus four (4) option years at the Bay Pines VA Health Care System, 10000 Bay Pines Blvd, Bay Pines, FL 33744. This action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of Revolutionary FAR Overhaul 12.102 (a) and 41 USC §1901, only one will meet the Government s needs. Only one source is capable of responding due to the unique or specialized nature of the supplies and/or services. It is the Government s belief that the proposed candidate is the only provider of the services and supplies that can meet the agency s needs. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any business that believes it can meet the scope of work may give written notice to moneque.rodriguez@va.gov by the due date and time. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Responses will be considered by the Government; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. THIS SYNOPSIS DOES NOT COMMIT THE GOVERNMENT TO CONTRACT FOR ANY SUPPLY OR SERVICE. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT PAY FOR ANY INFORMATION OR ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS INCURRED IN RESPONSE TO THIS SYNOPSIS.
