The Canadian Grain Commission ( CGC ) wishes to enter into a contract with Waters Ltd . for the purpose of remote support , on - site service and annual preventative maintenance of one ( 1 ) Autopure preparative Liquid Chromatograph ( LC ) system , one ( 1 ) G2 Synapt mass spectrometer and two ( 2 ) software and computer hardware systems used to control the instruments and process data . The term of this proposed contract is three ( 3 ) years . The total value of this contract will not exceed $ 367 , 563 . 60 ( inclusive of applicable taxes ). The following documentation must be provided to support your Statement of Capabilities : 1 . Please provide written , authenticated copies of your Original Equipment Manufacturer ( OEM ) current and valid certifications for providing maintenance on the following equipment : G2 Synapt mass spectrometer consisting of : • One ( 1 ) G2 Synapt mass spectrometer • Two ( 2 ) MassLynx computers ( hardware and software support ) Waters Autopure system consisting of : • Two ( 2 ) model 515 pumps • One ( 1 ) model 2424 Evaporative Light Scattering ( ELS ) detector • One ( 1 ) model 2667 Fraction collector / sample injector • One ( 1 ) model 2535 Quaternary gradient manager • One ( 1 ) MassLynx computers ( hardware and software support ) 2 . Please provide a list of the required training completed in order to obtain these certifications . Other contract requirements include : • Seventy two ( 72 ) hour on - site service standard for service calls • Unlimited software and PC support for the three ( 3 ) computer assets specified above • All parts , labor , travel and lodging included in the contract • Commitment to use of OEM - approved parts for service and repairs only . Refurbished parts must be OEM - certified . • Access to priority shipping of OEM parts within service standard , unless out of stock from the OEM . 3 . Please provide written authentication from the original equipment manufacturer that you are authorized to provide OEM certified replacement parts ( new parts only ) and consumables for the above equipment . 4 . Please provide a copy of the defined maintenance procedure for each piece of equipment , per the OEM .
