Description | In order to modernize infrastructure within PGW ’ s metering system , PGW is seeking to implement an AMI solution for its natural gas services . The ideal AMI solution for PGW will : • Have a network that covers the entire PGW service area where approximately 95 % of the gas meters are located in indoor basements . Indoor meters are assumed to be located 2 ’ below grade ( exact Latitude and Longitude coordinates of these meters will be provided to all Proposers for their propagation studies ). o A hybrid AMI network solution is acceptable to achieve 100 % network coverage . • Have compatibility with multiple ultrasonic gas meter make and models . o Ultrasonic gas meters with integrated remote shut off is PGW ’ s preference for residential services . |
