Bids shall be on a unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form.Bids must be submitted on the bid forms provided by the City and accompanied by a bid security in an amount of five percent (5%) of the Bidder’s maximum Bid price, payable, without recourse, to the City of Killeen. The security may be in the form of a certified cashier’s check or a Bid Bond in the same amount from a reliable surety company approved to do business in the State of Texas, as guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute a 100 percent performance bond and 100 percent payment bond and guaranty forms provided within ten (10) business days after notice of award of contract to him.
