Contractor shall provide all equipment , materials , supplies , personnel , transportation , licenses , certifications , and permits necessary to provide American Sign Language Instruction and American Sign Language Interpreting Services on an as - needed basis . 7 . CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES : A . Contractor shall provide American Sign Language instruction services , Tuesday and Thursdays , for two ( 2 ) hours during regular business hours ( 2 : 00 p . m . to 4 : 00 p . m .) as mutually agreed upon between Contractor and the DSH Contract Manager . B . All provide American Sign Language instruction services , Tuesday and Thursdays , for two ( 2 ) hours during regular business hours ( 2 : 00 p . m . to 4 : 00 p . m .) as mutually agreed upon between Contractor and the DSH Contract Manager . C . The Contractor must confirm acceptance of the assignment no later than 48 hours after DSH has requested an assignment . If the Contractor does not confirm an assignment within 48 hours , DSH reserves the right to seek services from another contractor . D . If Contractor is unable to provide the scheduled instruction services that were mutually agreed upon between Contractor and the DSH Contract Manager previously , they shall provide 24 - hour notification prior to the start of the scheduled instruction course . If the Contractor does not cancel within 24 hours , DSH reserves the right to seek services from another contractor . E . Contractor shall not be compensated for missed assignments . F . A missed assignment for Instructing is defined as any of the following : i . Instructor Contractor shall not be compensated for missed assignments . ii . Instructor does not appear at the time and place designated for the assignment , which included 24 hours non - appearance notification . iii . Instructor does not have valid ID or valid correct certification . iv . Instructor is unable to perform ASL instruction services ...
