Description | The EMI unit is an inhouse energy market modelling team that will support the larger Energy Group in electricity and gas market modelling and date. DEECA's Energy Market Intelligence Unit requires access to accurate historical energy market data, in a user friendly format to conduct their core business. NemSight provides this service through a desktop application connected to AEMO's MMS database. Purchasing the NemSight software will assist the team in their core work and reduce the Energy Group's overall reliance on external consultants for this type of research and analysis. A contingency is sought in case the current amount of subscriptions (10) for 3 years, needs to be increased. Pricing for additional licenses is not confirmed at this stage and will only be required on a surge basis. |
