Annual Fire Extinguisher Service

Contractor shall furnish all labor necessary to perform annual fire extinguisher service on all ABC , CO2 and Class K fire extinguishers located at the Porterville Developmental Center . In addition , five ( 5 ) year and twelve ( 12 ) year hydro testing shall be performed as needed for up to 200 fire extinguishers per year . SERVICES Contractor shall provide the following services : ▪ Annual fire extinguisher service for 836 ABC fire extinguishers located throughout the facility . ▪ Annual fire extinguisher service for 65 CO2 fire extinguishers located throughout the facility . ▪ Annual fire extinguisher services for five ( 5 ) class K fire extinguishers located throughout the facility . ▪ Perform five ( 5 ) and twelve ( 12 ) year hydro testing as needed for up to 200 fire extinguishers per year in the month of November . The contractor will provide for the removal , repair , or replacement of needed parts and any hydrostatic testing for all 5 -, 10 -, and 20 - pound extinguishers . All work to be completed in compliance with Title 19 , Division 1 , Chapter 3 , and NFPA 101 . EQUIPMENT Contractor will supply all the materials , equipment , other related expenses necessary to accomplish the work that is to be done under this Agreement . All work shall be performed on - grounds unless prior authorization has been given by PDC ’ s Project Representative . Extinguishers that are the property of PDC shall not be removed from the facility without prior consent of PDC ’ s Project Representative . Contractor will be responsible for the removal and return of the extinguishers to their various locations throughout the facility . CONTRACTOR EMPLOYEE RESPONSIBILITIES Contractor is responsible for providing PDC with no less than * 2 Service Technicians for the entire duration of the annual fire extinguisher servicing process . Contractor is responsible for providing PDC with no less than * 2 Service Laborers for the entire duration of the annual fire extinguisher servicing process . Contractor is responsible for ALL employees remaining on the job site throughout the entire annual fire extinguisher servicing process . Contractor is responsible for providing PDC with 4 employees * ( see above ) at all times during the duration of the annual fire extinguisher servicing process .
