Appraisal Services on As - Needed Basis

The City seeks qualified consultant ( s ) capable of rendering professional appraisal services and related advisory services on an on - call basis . Appraisal services will be performed under the auspices of the OSPCD - Economic Development Division , although the selected consultant ( s ) may be called upon to assist other City departments . Under this contract , the Division will call upon the selected consultant ( s ) on a project - by - project basis . When a project has been identified , the Department will request a scope of work and fee from the selected consultant ( s ) to perform the appraisal services necessary , in conformance with the contract . Presently , the City is soliciting proposals from firms for on - call services . The scope of services requires the City to commission a Certified General Appraiser and a Certified Review Appraiser , who shall discharge the scope of work in conformance to Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice . The Certified General Appraiser will be tasked with determining the amount of just compensation an owner will be paid , based on the property type , land use , size of the easement area , and other generally accepted standards . Completed appraisals shall comply with 49 CFR 24 .
