This document defines the scope and typical requirements for engineering services for this Contract . 2 . 1 Consultant Responsibilities : 2 . 1 . 1 The Consultant shall provide Services performed under the supervision of licensed professional engineers currently registered in the State of New York . Projects involve electrical engineering in the performance of electrical Short Circuit Studies , Protection and Coordination Studies , and Arc Flash Analyses , with recommendations for improvements for New York Power Authority ’ s generation , transmission , and support facilities . 2 . 1 . 2 The Consultant shall perform data collection , surveys , site verifications , studies , calculations , analyses , safety assessments , and respond to and resolve comments and concerns with produced work product . In addition , for arc flash mitigation assignments Consultant may be tasked to provide construction support for implementing strategies involving modification or replacement of equipment to implement the recommended strategy . 2 . 1 . 3 The Consultant shall have a working knowledge of the provisions and intent of local and national codes and standards , IEEE & NFPA standards , OSHA safety regulations and requirements , applicable to performance of the assignments . 2 . 1 . 4 All activities shall be prepared by or under the supervision of a Professional Engineer licensed by the State of New York and experienced in the work entailed . Studies , reports , evaluations , and other work products under this contract shall be stamped and signed by that Professional Engineer . 2 . 1 . 5 If applicable to the specific task assigned , the Consultant shall review and comment upon all drawings , specifications , calculations and other documents and data prepared and submitted by other Consultants , contractors , equipment suppliers and the Authority . The Consultant shall cooperate in the exchange of information and coordinate its activities with all other Consultants and Authority staff working on the same tasks as the Consultant . 2 . 1 . 6 Upon completion of each Assignment ( see Section – Assignment of Work ), the Consultant shall furnish final reports and SKM software models and basis with associated electronic files to the Authority . 2 . 1 . 7 The Consultant shall provide an overall workplan , schedule for performance of the work , milestone payment schedule , and quality control plan when requested to provide pricing for proposed Assignments under this Contract . 2 . 1 . 8 The Consultant shall provide fees schedule with the bid documents for hourly consultation services , travel costs , and other costs to be identified by the Consultant for the performance of the work
