Description | The Town of Firestone is initiating a transition of its utility infrastructure data from ESRI ’ s legacy Geometric Network to the modern Utility Network platform . Currently , the Town relies on ESRI ’ s ArcMap - based Geometric Network for the creation , maintenance , and editing of utility GIS data . However , ESRI has announced the retirement of ArcMap and the ArcGIS Desktop suite effective March 1 , 2026 , after which support and maintenance will cease . Additionally , ESRI discontinued sales of new ArcGIS Desktop licenses as of March 1 , 2024 . See more |
