Johnson County Community College is accepting proposals for architectural , engineering and appropriate related professional services for programming , design , construction administration , and project closeout services for the COM Building Infrastructure Project . The COM Building was constructed in 1971 and is 76 , 505 square feet with 4 floors . A COM Infrastructure Study was completed in 2024 and can be found as Exhibit 2 as attached . Summary of work could include the following but not limited to Loading Dock Improvements , Kitchen Renovation , Restroom Renovations , Elevator upgrades , HVAC Replacements , Electrical Gear replacements , Fire Sprinkler Installation , Plumbing Systems , Suppression Systems , & Lighting . Selected consultant team shall provide comprehensive architectural / engineering service including , but not limited to : architectural / educational programming ( including goals , objectives , space / area , and equipment definition ), concept design , schematic design , design development , construction documents , construction administration including commissioning oversight , and construction observation , punch list substantial completion , closeout , 1 - year post occupancy and minimum of a 1 - year construction warranty issue resolution services . NOTE – It is critical that the selected firm have commercial kitchen engineering experience or a partnership with another firm with experience ( as this should be listed in your response in Section 3 )
