Scope of Work General Requirements The contractor shall provide services at Patrick Bridge and Blair Bridge conservation areas in accordance with the provisions and requirements stated herein and to the sole satisfaction of the Department . Familiarity with Conditions The contractor shall understand and agree that it is their responsibility to become familiar with the conditions that exist prior to award of the contract . The contractor shall not be relieved of the performance of the provisions and requirements specified herein . Contractor ' s Obligation Unless otherwise specified herein , the contractor shall provide all tools , equipment , materials , labor , supervision , and supplies necessary to perform the services herein . Children / Juveniles The contractor will agree that children or juveniles will not be allowed to accompany the contractor or contractor ' s employees on the job site . Use of Subcontractors The contractor shall not engage or use the services of subcontractors in performing the contract unless the contractor obtains prior written approval from the Department . Any subcontractors used in conjunction with this agreement shall be bound to the same requirements placed on the contractor . Hazardous Conditions The contractor understands that there may be hazardous conditions , and the contractor hereby voluntarily accepts and assumes all risks from these conditions and agrees to incur these risks as a condition of the contract . Assignment of Contract This contract may not be assigned in whole or in part by the contractor without written consent of the Department . Amendments The contractor shall agree that this agreement shall not be amended or modified except in writing and signed by all parties of the original agreement . Applicable Laws The contractor agrees to comply with all applicable laws of the State of Missouri . This contract shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri . It is mutually agreed that the venue for any cause of action regarding this contract shall be the Circuit Court of Cole County , Jefferson City , Missouri . Performance Requirements Mowing & Trimming : 1 . The area ( s ) designated on the attached map ( s ) shall be mowed and trimmed . 2 . The contractor must trim around all parking lot posts , signage , shooting benches , targets and shooting towers present in the designated area . 3 . All roadway edges and parking lots shall be mowed and trimmed at established widths and lengths . 4 . Grass clippings must be removed from all concrete surfaces , and care must be taken to keep them off gravel surfaces . Litter Removal : 1 . The contractor is responsible for trash removal in all designated area . 2 . Contractor is responsible for all permits , fees , and expenses related to the disposal of all litter collected . 3 . The Department will supply trash bags . Janitorial - Privies : 1 . Ceilings , walls , and floors of privies must be dusted and swept out . 2 . Doorknobs , and all inside surfaces of Privies must be disinfected , including but not limited to the toilet ( s ), sink ( s ), and floors . 3 . Disinfectant should be mixed at a ratio of 50 % Disinfectant and 50 % Water . 4 . Refill toilet paper at every toilet . 5 . Refill paper towels at every sink . 6 . Within 24 hours , area workers should be notified of any excess human excrement on interior walls that cannot be cleaned according to normal expectations . 7 . The Department will supply toilet paper , paper towels , and disinfectant . Schedule of Services 1 . Litter Removal : Every two weeks , between the months of April to October . Completed each time / prior to the designated area being mowed . 2 . Mowing & Trimming : Every two weeks , between the months of April to October . 3 . Janitorial - Privies : Every two weeks , between the months of April to October . Completed each time / after mowing & litter removal is completed . 4 . Designated areas shall be serviced outside of these dates , more often , or less often at the request of the Project Manager or their designee .
