Description | The Arizona Department of Education is seeking a contractor ( hereinafter referred to as “ Contractor ”) for the implementation of the statewide English language proficiency assessment beginning in Summer 2026 and continuing through the term of the contract . The testing Contractor shall work closely with ADE ’ s Assessment Section to complete all of the tasks described in the Scope of Work . Starting with the 2026 Placement test and all subsequent placement and reassessment tests , all test item must align to the language skills expected of students at each grade / grade band and may not assess skills in English language arts , mathematics , or science . These new tests must assess without bias the Arizona English Language Proficiency Standards based on the identified language skills as outlined in the overlay |
