1 . Fabricate and Install Bulk Air Intake Louver Assemblies a . Quantity required : Four ( 4 ) Left hand assemblies and four ( 4 ) Right hand assemblies . b . Materials : 16ga and 18ga ASTM A1008 cold rolled steel per drawings in Attachment A . c . Finish : Two ( 2 ) coats DTM acrylic paint per ARRC sample or color specs . d . Installation : Install fabricated assemblies to four ( 4 ) 48 ” x77 ” existing carbody openings as shown in Attachment E drawing using ¼ - 20 socket cap machine screws and weld nuts , 16 ” OC . 2 . Fabricate and Install Bulk Air Intake Filter Assemblies a . Quantity required : Eight ( 8 ) Filter Assemblies . b . Materials : 18ga ASTM A1008 cold rolled steel . c . Finish : Two ( 2 ) coats DTM acrylic paint per ARRC sample or color specs . d . Assembly : Assemble filter halves per Attachment B drawings using 1 / 8 ” Steel rivets , 16 ” OC . Filter halves to be assembled with ARRC provided ¾ ” thick filter media cut to fill the center void . e . Installation : Filter assemblies to be set into Item 1 Bulk Air Louver Assemblies following installation . 3 . Fabricate and Install Waste Heat Exhaust Air Plenums a . Quantity required : Two ( 2 ) waste heat exhaust plenums b . Materials : 304 - 2B Stainless Steel , gage and supports per ANSI / SMACNA 006 requirements for 2 ” water internal duct pressure . c . Finish : raw stainless steel d . Installation : Fabricate and install exhaust plenums per Attachment C drawings . Plenums to be permanently installed to ARR 1776 engine bay surrounding four ( 4 ) existing 34 ” x 70 ” waste heat exhaust air outlets ( one per side of car per plenum ) as shown in Attachment D drawings . 4 . Install Waste Heat Exhaust Shutters a . Installation : Install eight ( 8 ) ARRC provided 33 - 3 / 4 ” x33 - 3 / 4 ” motorized shutter assemblies to existing 34 ” x34 ” waste heat exhaust openings using ¼ - 20 socket cap machine screws and weld nuts . Exhaust shutter and motorized openers as shown in Attachment E drawings .
