Description | The City of Atlanta ' s Department of City Planning (" DCP ") consultant will support the study of Livable Centers Initiative ( LCI )- related programs and projects surrounding the Ashby Metropolitan Atlanta Transit Authority ( MARTA ) Station area . The LCI program aims to improve the use of alternatives to driving alone by supporting transportation projects and other programs that enhance accessibility , diversify land uses , promote transit use , and foster further develop in the study area . The Action plan created from this study will align the City with Atlanta Regional Commission ( ARC )' s LCI goals for safety , connectivity , and walkability . |
