Augusta University Parking and Transportation Services requests competitive proposals from qualified firms to provide a transit bus passenger information system for the Augusta University campuses . Augusta University offers four fixed bus routes in Augusta , GA with nearly 260 , 000 annual passenger boardings per year . Augusta University has contracted with a vendor who operates the campus transit system . Eight new Marco Polo buses will arrive on campus in September 2026 . ( See appendix A ) This RFP outlines the minimally acceptable levels of service , operations , performance , and procedural requirements acceptable to Augusta University . The contract will commence on June 1 , 2026 . Offeror must have hardware installed by September 30 , 2026 . Software should be operational prior to the September 30 , 2026 date to allow for training .
