Description

To establish bulk Automatic Transmission Fluid ( ATF ) contract . This specification covers transmission fluid to help ensure smooth gear shifts , proper lubrication , and efficient operation of the transmission system . Contract to be for 825 gallons of Castral TransSynd688 or data sheet equivalent Automatic Transmission Fluid ( ATF ). Specifications : Automatic Transmission Fluid ( ATF ) shall be of the best , highest quality , manufactured with the newest additive technology , and shall provide superior performance in engine service . Castral TransSynd688 or data sheet equivalent ATF will be delivered in 825 - gallon loads into Metro Transit ’ s ATF bunker . Delivery expected within 24 business hours of notice . Pump trucks used to deliver need to be able to pump to bunkers approximately 30 feet from truck . Delivery truck / trailer should be not taller than 11 ’ 5 ”.
