Description
Description | This requirement is to provide all items , articles , materials , operations , or methods listed , mentioned or scheduled on the drawings and / or as specified herein , including all labor , materials , equipment , and incidentals necessary and required for completion of a lightning protection system ( LPS ) upgrade and inspection . The LPS system cables shall be up sized to AWG 4 / 0 ( approximately ½ ”) copper to bring the system up to code , and a small quantity of frayed cable will be replaced . The LPS inspection shall be compliant with the most current edition of NFPA 780 . The Contractor shall provide and deliver to the United States Air Force a hard copy and a digital CD of the acceptance testing results and the UL Lightning Protection Inspection Certificate for the facility . The UL Lightning Protection Inspection Certificate shall be certified to NFPA 780 Chapter 8 . The Contractor shall have attended and completed the Senior Inspector AMMO 47 or better training or equivalent . Please See attached SOW for complete details . |
