Description | The City of Danville is seeking proposals for the demolition and removal of the old barn on the northern end of the old fairground ’ s property . The barn is in disrepair and needs to be removed . The barn is approximately 7 , 500 square feet with dimensions of 150 ’ x 50 ’. The barn is composed of wood framing and siding with a sheet metal roof . Also included in this project is the demolition and removal of an existing wood plank fence approximately 500 ’ long . General Project Requirements : 1 ) General : The Contractor is responsible for site security , access control , and safety in the Course of the Work . Permits for work requiring a shutdown of existing park roads and / or walking trails or impeding public access in any way shall be scheduled in advance with the Parks Department having jurisdiction . |
