BASIC CLOSE QUARTERS CLEARANCE ( CQC ) TRAINING

The San Diego County Sheriff ' s Office Special Enforcement Detail ( SED ) requires the services of a Subject Matter Expert ( SME )/ Training Contractor to provide Basic Close Quarters Clearance ( CQC ) training . SED supports all divisions of the Sheriff ' s Office , and allied agencies as requested . Critical incidents occur indoors , or in streets and alleys where maneuverability and visibility are limited and standard methods , equipment , and tactics are not suitable . Training on current best practices and an evaluation of standard operating procedures are essential for successful outcomes . 1 . OBJECTIVES 1 . 1 . Evaluate SED ' s current tactics and improve upon them . 1 . 2 . Equip SED with information , skills , and tools for CQC . 1 . 3 . Training on new and emerging equipment , like suppressors , lasers , night vision , thermal imaging . 1 . 4 .
