These descriptions are not meant to be all inclusive of work to be included in the Bid . Unless specifically noted as being furnished only or install only , scope includes complete installation including all labor , material , equipment , etc . Bidders are required to familiarize themselves with ALL BID CATEGORIES AND ALTERNATES . General inclusions and information for ALL Work Categories : • All contractors shall provide permits and inspections required that are associated with their scope of work . Permitting has been delegated to the City of Big Rapids , so permits will be pulled through Big Rapids referencing the current Building Permit . • All contractors shall be responsible for the coordination , delivery , unloading , and handling of their products . GDK will not be providing means for handling and unloading of material . • For trades required to carry an allowance as part of the base bid – Additional mark - up will NOT be added to cost of work associated with Allowance work as mark - up is already included in the cost of the base bid • A “ Preliminary Project Schedule ” is being issued as part of the bid documents . This schedule is subject to change pending owner ’ s request , review with final project team , material delivery dates , and installation durations . This schedule shall be subject to change throughout the course of the project . There will be periods where manpower is required before or after school hours for transitions between phases of work . Also , certain school breaks like Spring break , will require manpower to transition from phase to phase
