OVERVIEW OF SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED The selected contractor will provide the staffing for the roles as detailed in these specifications as well as the management and oversight associated with those positions . The selected contractor will provide administrative and technical direction for the management and operation of the supplemental behavioral support system including Board Certified Behavior Analysts ( BCBAs ), Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts ( BCaBAs ), Registered Behavior Technicians ( RBTs ), and highly trained paraprofessional assistants throughout the School District . Such direction will include , but not be limited to , assistance in the planning , organizing , coordination , direction , training , and controlling of the paraprofessional and other staffing to ensure the district ’ s classrooms have adequate supplementary support and to enable students to be educated to the maximum extent appropriate . The contractor will operate the School District ’ s supplemental behavioral support system in a condition acceptable to the School District . The contractor will control the cost of labor and maintain continuous availability of trained and experienced BCBAs , BCaBAs , RBTs , and highly trained paraprofessionals . The contractor is expected to provide administration and technical direction in the management of BCBAs , BCaBAs , RBTs , and highly trained paraprofessional assistants . The scope of work and services to be delivered by the contractor will be provided in accordance with the highest standards of professionalism , skill , and competency and will conform to all applicable codes and regulations . The contractor is expected to function as an extension of the district ’ s behavioral team in the support of students and staff . These functions include development of functional behavioral assessments , acting as 1 : 1 highly trained specialized paraprofessional assistants or classroom highly trained specialized paraprofessional assistants , and overall immediate response for behavioral concerns . All items stated in these specifications and the resulting contract is subject to inspection and audit by the district . The Assistant Superintendent for Special Education or designee will have input and final approval in the selection of on - site highly trained specialized paraprofessional assistants to be assigned to our students / schools . This authorized representative for the School District will also retain the right to require the replacement of any of the contractor ’ s on - site staff for whatever reason the School Business Administrator , Assistant Superintendent for Special Education , or designee deems sufficient cause .
