The Multnomah County Department of Health , Behavioral Health Division , is seeking Proposers from whom it may purchase Behavioral Science Training . Services are intended to train staff from prevention and intervention programs on the foundation of Behavioral Science theory , principles , and frameworks . To then provide additional training and support on applying Behavioral Science into practice with the creation of custom tools , embedding the discipline into the workflow of programs and teams , and ensuring it is sustainable . The Proposer awarded the contract shall be expected to deliver the following : 1 . Identify and interview Health Department staff in prevention , intervention and communication , on their current behavior change knowledge , practices , goals and challenges as it relates to changing health behaviors at the individual and population levels . 2 . Based on the goals and challenges the staff have identified in changing individual and population behaviors , develop training curriculum , materials and tools that can meet the behavior change goals and remove / reduce the barriers to healthier behaviors . 3 . Provide training that encompasses the foundation of Behavioral Science and its theory , principles , and frameworks to all identified staff and programs . 4 . Provide separate training for prevention / communication and intervention / clinical staff to meet their specific goals and challenges . 5 . Develop with input from the prevention , intervention and communication staff , the creation of custom tools , embedding Behavioral Science practices into the workflow of staff and teams , and methods to ensure its sustainability . 6 . Provide follow - up consultation and technical support for agreed upon set timeframe .
