Description | The works comprise of the following:- Earthworks – includes removal of peat, glazier till and fractured rock.- Peat Storage – all removed peat is to be stored in bespoke constructed bays for reuse during closed cell restoration.- Unsaturated Zone – place free draining infill material to form cell base above groundwater level.- Perimeter Bunds – place free draining infill material to form cell perimeter bunds.- Mineral Barrier – place Bentonite Enriched Soil (BES) on cell base.- Basal Liner – place High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) liner on cell base.- Leachate Drainage – place clean aggregate as a drainage blanket on basal liner.- Leachate Collection – place collection chambers and transfer pipework.- Mechanical & Electrical – place electrical cable ducts, pumps, controls and lightingCPV: 45222110, 45222110. |
