The work shall consist of the demolition and removal from the site four ( 4 ) existing traffic signs and approximately 513 SF of existing sidewalk , 71 LF of existing curb , 45 LF of existing curb and gutter , 178 SF of existing traffic island , 14 SF of existing tactile paving and 161 LF of existing pavement stripping . The contractor shall also furnish and install five ( 5 ) concrete ADA ramps , 14 LF of 18 ” normal curb and gutter , 37 SY of heavy duty asphalt pavement , 1 , 783 LF of 8 ” thermoplastic crosswalk striping , 243 LF of 4 ” thermoplastic skip striping , 114 LF of 4 ” thermoplastic solid striping , 142 LF of 24 ” thermoplastic stop bar , three ( 3 ) GDOT Type 3 thermoplastic turn arrows , street signage , 1 , 125 LF of 2 ” conduit , 244 LF of 6 ” directional bore and the traffic signal and control boxes complete and ready to operate . All pavement markings shall be thermoplastic . The project area is located at the intersection of Benton Boulevard and West Mulberry Boulevard / Towne Center Drive . All work will occur within the designated road right of way and construction easements . The Contractor shall be responsible for providing traffic control at the site and for the offsite disposal of all items / debris to be demolished or removed .
