Description | Conduct bicycle screen line counts at approximately 100 locations around Orange County . The Orange County Transportation Authority ( OCTA ) continuing its Active Transportation Counts Program ( ATCP ) to strengthen its database of bicycle activity across Orange County . Since 2020 , OCTA has conducted annual “ cyclic counts ” to measure bicycle volumes . These counts are stored in the Bicycle Count Database ( BCD ), which supports project prioritization , policy development , funding applications , and performance evaluation . The 2026 project continues this effort , with continued data collection , consistency in methodology , and enhanced reporting . |
