Mid - Continent Public Library (“ MCPL ”) is requesting services of engineering consulting firms for the design and engineering of Blue Ridge Branch HVAC System Upgrade Project ( the “ HVAC Project ”) for the Blue Ridge branch located at 9253 Blue Ridge Blvd ., Kansas City , MO 64138 . The Blue Ridge Branch HVAC Upgrades Project Consists of the Following : • Upgrading the ventilation and exhaust system to meet current ASHRAE 62 . 1 standards and control indoor air quality . • Replacement of the existing DX split systems with new . • Upgrading the existing workroom and branch manager ’ s office with new system type for individual room control . • Electrical upgrades as required for the new equipment upgrades . • HVAC drawings and plans are attached to provide a detailed overview of the current system design , including equipment layout , duct distribution , airflow zoning , and mechanical room configuration . The documents illustrate supply and return air pathways , equipment capacities , diffuser locations , control schematics , and the integration of ventilation , heating , and cooling components within the facility . The project requires professional engineering design services specializing in mechanical , electrical , and plumbing disciplines .
