Description | The Sanctuary is an out‑of‑hours mental health service based at Gloucester House, Southmead Hospital, providing a safe and supportive space for people aged 16 and over experiencing serious emotional distress; it operates Thursday to Monday from 5pm to midnight and offers face‑to‑face support from 6pm, giving individuals the opportunity for 1:1 sessions, quiet space, activities, and light refreshments, with staff also able to signpost to other services and attend professional meetings when invited; service users can receive three pre‑booked preventative support sessions, and the service supports people across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. |
