NAVSUP-WSS is seeking eligible contractors to furnish effort including labor, material, and facilities as may be required to Evaluate, Repair and/or Modify the items as specified The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Government intends to solicit for the procurement of the new spares and the repair of various items listed to A-condition status. The government does not possess or cannot provide the data necessary to perform the required repairs or manufacture of the item: NIINs are as follows: 015575367 015575364 015659012 014827619 015227702 015353543 015575359 014830402 015575324 015575375 015752927 015575364 016463729 One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the Free Trade Agreements Act and/or the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements. The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. If you are not an approved source you must submit, together with your proposal, the information detailed in the NAVSUP-WSS Source Approval Information Brochure for Repair. Additional information for submitting a Source Approval Request package can be obtained at: https://www.navsup.navy.mil/public/navsup/business_opps/. All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within 15 days after date of publication of this sources sought notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Approval of a source is required. WSS will not delay award while Source Approval is pending. This notice serves as the pre-solicitation/synopsis notice for Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) consisting of 5 base years and will support the repair of: SPQ-9B Radar Set System, and other various systems that support the fleets mission. The Government does not possess the necessary data to repair the equipment/items solicited hereunder from any source other than Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation.
