Description | The Contractor shall provide water treatment service to the various types of systems according to the schedule below : • Closed Loop Re - Circulating Systems – Year Round • Cooling Towers – May 15th through October 15th • Steam Boilers – October 15th through March 15th • Boiler Condensate Control – Semi - Annual The Contractor shall provide boiler water treatment . The burners are serviced internally by the Town ’ s work force . CHEMICAL PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS : Closed Loop Re - Circulating Systems : The Contractor shall provide a single liquid product containing a molybdate , polymer , nitrite , and azole formulation . Operational Guidelines : Hot Water : • Molybdate 32 - 96 ppm as M0 • Nitrite 400 - 960 ppm as Sodium Nitrite • Azole - 9 - 27 ppm as TTA • pH 8 - 10 Chilled Water : • Molybdate 16 - 48 ppm as M0 • Nitrite 160 - 480 as Sodium Nitrite • Azole 4 . 5 - 13 . 5 ppm as TTA • pH 8 - 10 |
