Description | The MCIA is requesting proposals from Bond Underwriting firms for the purpose of providing Bond Underwriting services for the MCIA . Responsibilities of the Bond Underwriter shall include at a minimum : 1 . Risk Assessment and Due Diligence , including analyzing financial statements , credit reports , and historical performance . 2 . Pricing and Structuring Bonds , including assessing prevailing market conditions , interest rate expectations , and investor appetite to arrive at an optimal coupon rate and maturity . 3 . Marketing and Distribution to attract potential buyers . 4 . Legal Compliance and Documentation , including the official statement , prospectus , and offering circular . 5 . Negotiating Terms , including the bond ' s interest rate , maturity , call features , and covenants . 6 . Post - Issuance Support , including providing ongoing support to the issuer , addressing questions , facilitating secondary market trading , and assisting with refinancing . |
