Description | The Project consists of the following major elements : pre - construction consultation and construction of a replacement of the existing East Lake BPS with a new BPS on the existing site , as well as approximately 5 , 000 linear feet ( LF ) of new water main outside of the existing BPS property ( suction and discharge piping ) to improve the system hydraulics . The new BPS is anticipated to have the following features :- Horizontal split case pumps inside new BPS building - Site piping designed to maintain the existing operations of the onsite ground storage tanks - Standby power generator with automatic transfer switch - The existing BPS interior will be demolished , and the building will be left for storage if possible - The new building will have a roll up door and crane system for pump removal / access , climate controlled electrical room with new switchgear and VFDs .
