The Project shall feature a playground that is accessible for all ages and abilities . The attached Exhibit A design is divided into multiple play areas with features specific for 0 - 2 years of age , 2 - 5 years of age and for 5 - 12 years of age . Any feature requiring a transfer from a wheelchair should include a harness / belt while not seated in the personal wheelchair . o Additional play areas could include : ▪ Variety of Hillside slides ( rollers , double - wide , and any others ) to include a transfer base for wheelchair users ▪ Log pile climbing feature ( set up to be challenge course for 1 - 5 ) ▪ Variety of swing styles ( baby & parent swing , toddler swing , youth swing , wheelchair accessible swing / glider , saucer swing ) ▪ In - ground Merry - go - round that is ADA compliant ▪ Teeter - Totter style bouncing feature that is ADA compliant ▪ Sensory play areas to include tactile play panels , musical instruments • Other panels to include communication and butterfly education ▪ Climbing structure ▪ Climbing features utilizing a hillside ▪ At least 2 shade structures over play areas ▪ Signage • Age - appropriate signage for features • Site Identification and rules signage
