The College seeks a full - service insurance broker to provide comprehensive insurance brokerage , risk management , and advisory services . The selected firm will assist in the placement and administration of the College ' s insurance programs ; provide coverage analysis , claims assistance and advocacy , and insurer performance monitoring ; support loss control and risk management initiatives ; and offer periodic reporting and ongoing advisory services . The broker will be responsible for issuing all certificates of insurance as needed for the College community . All services shall be provided in a manner consistent with the College ' s obligations as a public entity under applicable New Jersey and federal law , and in compliance with all applicable New Jersey public contracting regulations The College ' s current insurance program and coverage details will be made available to the successful proposer following award , as necessary for the performance of services . 2 . SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED At a minimum , the successful proposer shall provide insurance brokerage and advisory services to the College at no additional cost beyond insurance premiums and the compensation disclosed in the proposal . Services are advisory in nature and do not include the provision of legal advice . The successful proposer shall serve as the College ' s insurance broker of record and shall be responsible for marketing , negotiating , and placing insurance coverage on behalf of the College , subject to the College ' s review and approval . The broker shall provide full transparency in the marketing process , including identification of all insurers approached , quotes received , declinations , and the rationale for any recommendations
