Description | The Butte - Silver Bow Fire Department maintains 2 career stations ( manned ) and 9 volunteer stations ( un - manned ) within the consolidated government of Butte - Silver Bow , Montana . This project aims to install a fully NFPA - compliant fire station alerting system that provides : • Rapid , simultaneous , and stacked alerting • Automated voice dispatch and station - level TTS backup • Zoned alerting • Red LED bunkroom lighting for nighttime response • Integration with Motorola FLEX CAD • Redundant radio alerting capabilities • Remote / mobile alerting to personnel • Full centralized configuration , monitoring , and maintenance capabilities The system shall communicate via TCP / IP over Butte - Silver Bow ’ s Wide Area Network ( WAN ), optimizing POE - based low - voltage cabling . It must be designed for mission - critical fire / EMS alerting and future scalability . This project shall be completed in a manner commensurate with the intended application . Basic floor plans for both manned stations will be included at the end of this publication . |
