The purpose of this ammendment is to correct the description of the solicitation on SAM.gov to better explain the correct nature of the requirement. Description : 36 – 12”X12” Flat Glass Sheets of BR-4 Ballistic Glass and 36 – 12”X12” Flat Glass Sheets of BR-6 Ballistic Glass in support of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Headquarters. This will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) delivery order, 100% small business set-aside under NAICS code 336992. Please see SOW shipping and delivery information. The purpose of this ammendment is to add the Statement of Work that was not attached. Windshields meeting NIJ Level III (38mm +/-5% and 21mm +/-5%) Suburban 2009-2011 Transparent Armor: Transparent armor shall be of one-piece construction with anti-spall inner layer. The transparent armor shall be laminated construction and shall have a material alone capability of meeting or exceeding the ballistic protection of NIJ Level III. Exposed Polycarbonate surface shall be treated with an abrasion resistant coating with Certificate of Compliance. Door Window Glass (Transparent Armor) shall meet NIJ Level III BR6 (38mm +/-5%) or BR4 (21mm +/-5%) for the applicable Chevrolet Suburban vehicles as detailed within this document.
