Description | The College intends to contract for the rental of bunker gear for its Fire Sciences program . Requirements and specifications include : • Up to 60 sets per term ( Fall and Spring semesters ). • Terms are estimated 16 to 18 weeks long . • Sets will include bunker coats , bunker pants , and suspenders . • Each set ( 1 coat & 1 pant ) shall be the same color and same manufacturer . • Gear shall meet NFPA 1971 standards and shall be maintained , cleaned , and cared for in accordance with NFPA 1851 standards . • Gear will require to be at training academy 3 days prior to beginning of each term , packed with student ’ s name attached to each set . • Gear requiring repair must be able to ship within one ( 1 ) week of notification . • Resizing shall be shipped within one ( 1 ) week of notice . • Prices quoted shall include all freight and / or delivery charges , unless specified otherwise . |
