Description | The work to be performed under this Contract includes the furnishing of labor , tools , equipment , temporary support structures and materials for Tower Spans Deck Replacement for the Burlington - Bristol Bridge . The work on the bridge structure includes the removal and replacement of the cross beams , deck , steel curbs , sidewalk , bridge railing and deck joints along the Tower Spans of the Burlington - Bristol Bridge . Bridge railing removal requires the relocation of existing conduits attached to the bridge railing . Conduit relocation is required to be completed prior to demolition of the bridge deck and other bridge elements with new cabling tested and approved . A structural health monitoring system is installed on the bridge which will remain operational throughout the project . |
