1 . Scheduling Vendor must have at least one ( 1 ) school bus available for Town use with seventy - two ( 72 ) hours ’ notice beginning at a time to be determined by the Town until completion of the trip . Trips may occur on weekends or during the week . 2 . Bus and Minimum Hour Requirements Town is seeking bids on the three types of buses listed below . Where buses meet the form function and utility of the Town but do not meet all requirements listed , please identify the deviations . The Town reserves the absolute right , in its sole discretion , to waive any deviations that it deems inconsequential to the use of the bid .. Item 1 : Standard School Bus a . Must have a minimum seating of 40 adults , with seat belts , and be radio equipped ; b . Must be accessible to the physically challenged ; c . Must be heated and air conditioned ; and d . Bus must be in good condition , have a valid NYS registration and inspection , and meet all other New York State requirements for school buses . e . Pricing shall be hourly based on a minimum of four hours per field trip . Item 2 : 16 - Passenger School Vans a . Must have a minimum seating of 16 adults , with seat belts , and be radio equipped ; b . Must be accessible to the physically challenged ;
