Description | • COST Fully paid for by the Jefferson County Board of Education . Premiums will be self - calculated and paid monthly for employees that have met all eligibility requirements , based on actual monthly employee count and payroll , and will vary from month to month . • ELIGIBILITY This plan will provide Disability Income Benefits for : • All employees who have completed one - year of active full - time employment , who work at least 20 hours weekly on an active full - time basis and are assigned to a full - time bargaining unit . • Employees who terminate prior to completing the one - year eligibility period described above , but who are rehired within 90 days of termination of employment will be considered as having been continuously employed during the period they were terminated and will not have to begin a new one - year employment period . |
