Goals and objectives Travel Nevada is seeking a qualified international representation agency to serve as its in - market ears , eyes , and voice in Canada . The agency will support travel trade development , public relations , social media , market intelligence , and strategic execution to increase awareness , visitation , and overnight spend across Nevada , with a strong emphasis on rural Nevada . The selected agency will operate as an extension of the Travel Nevada team and will : Represent Nevada at the in - market travel trade and media marketplace . Provide real - time market intelligence and insights . Advocate for Nevada ’ s tourism products and experiences . Execute integrated sales and PR programs aligned with Travel Nevada ’ s brand . Scope of work Market Intelligence & Insight Monitor Canadian travel trends , demands , sentiment , and booking behavior . Track aviation access , policy changes , currency impacts and competitive destinations activity . Provide quarterly market intelligence reports . Deliver an annual market outlook and forecast . Travel Trade Sales & Marketing ( Business to Business ( B2B ) Educate and engage : Travel agents Tour operators Online travel agencies ( OTAs ) Receptive operators Develop and execute a trade strategy . Increase bookable Nevada product ( fully independent traveler ( FIT ) and group ). FIT is a traveler who plans and books their trip independently rather than as part of a packaged group tour . Grow bookable Nevada product ( FIT and group travel ). Expand participation and completion in the NV Trailblazers training program . Represent Nevada at agreed - upon trade shows , roadshows , and missions . Support Brand USA , Visit USA , and U . S . Commercia Service programs . Coordinate in - market missions involving Travel Nevada staff and partners . Educate and engage the travel trade industry including but not limited to travel agents , tour operators , online travel agencies ( OTAs ), receptive operators , and airline partners . Provide an annual trade recap and highlight reel . Public Relations & Earned Media Develop and execute integrated public relations ( PR ), earned media , and paid media programs . Maintain relationships with consumer , trade , and lifestyle media . Provide ongoing pitching and media outreach . Plan and host media familiarization tours ( FAMs ) and press trips to Nevada . Deliver quarterly media coverage and sentiment reports . Provide an annual PR recap and highlight reel .
