Capacity Building to Power Sector Recovery Project

The technical assistance aims at implementing a Capacity Building Programme for EMAE, the electricity provider in Sao Tome. The objective of this TA operation will be to update and implement the training programme through the organisation of the training of trainers as well as seminars, workshops and different training courses for EMAE staff. Training needs concern the reinforcement of a corporate culture and the identity of successful and innovative company. Further, the Commercial Department requires capacity building in the fields of commercial policy, organisation, management, human resources, customer culture, work processes, communication, workplace safety. Training is also required for the Electricity Department in a range of technical fields (maintenance and operation of electricity generation and electricity distribution assets, distribution network planning). The HR Department requires a reinforcement of capacities to perform the normal HR management activities.
