Description
Description | The project consists of rehabilitating two undersized bridges with substandard widths on Cassville White Road near the I - 75 Interchange , in Bartow County , Georgia . The remediation plan is to replace two low lying bridges located at ( 1 . 67 +/- mi and 2 +/- mi respectively east of I - 75 Interchange ) and rehabilitate them by temporarily increasing their lane widths from 9 ’- 0 ”+/- to around 11 ’- 0 ”+/-. The work shall include the demolition of the superstructures ONLY and replacing with a proprietary Sandwich Plate System ( SPS ) superstructure tied to new wide flange beams . In addition , the substructure of the easternmost bridge will require minor modifications to accommodate the new widths by installing new wing walls and caps on all four corners to facilitate the placement of the new superstructure . |
