The awarded Respondent will collect qualitative and quantitative data annually to draft reports on the implementation of the scholarship program and a separate impact analysis of the Program interventions in promoting academic achievement , transfer success , and labor market outcomes . The Respondent will compile a final report during year 6 of the grant summarizing final Program outcomes and detailing the successes and failures of the Program ’ s interventions . Each year during the grant implementation period , the Respondent will plan and conduct student focus groups to collect qualitative data on students ’ experience in the Program . The collated student responses will form a data set to inform the implementation analysis for the year . Additional qualitative data will include survey data collected from students . Each year during the grant implementation period , the Respondent will coordinate with the Program leadership to collect quantitative data on the academic achievement of the Program students and in a sample of non - scholarship students . The Respondent will develop a control sample of similarly situated non - scholarship students through the propensity score matching technique or other similar statistical methods to compare student outcomes and assess the effectiveness of Program interventions . In addition to the collection and analysis of institutional data , the Respondent will assist CCA in the development of metrics for determining the appropriate dosage of student support interventions , surveys for incoming and outgoing program students and end - of - year satisfaction surveys for all program students . The Respondent will be responsible for maintaining student success data in a secure manner that complies with Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act ( FERPA ) standards and with Institutional Review Board ( IRB ) policies . The Respondent will maintain both raw data and cleaned data samples to document the analysis and to ensure the integrity of the research record .
