Description | The City of Manhattan Beach is implementing the Community Development Block Grant ( CDBG ) Project 602745 - 24 Cycle 4 ADA Curb Ramp Project ( CDBG Cycle 4 Curb Ramp ) which provides improvements to site - specific curb ramps in order to comply with the American with Disabilities Act ( ADA ) and meet the latest Federal Standards . This is a federally - assisted construction project as such Federal Labor Standards Provisions including prevailing wage requirements of the Davis - Bacon and Related ( DBRA ) will be enforced . The CDBG Cycle 4 Curb Ramp project will install new site - specific ADA compliant curb ramps to improve paths of travel . The improvements include the removal of existing non - standard curb ramps and the construction of new ADA compliant curb ramps with yellow truncated domes . Additional work consists of installation of hot - mix - asphalt slot paving , sidewalk , curb / gutter , cross gutter , and crosswalk upgrades ( slurry with new striping ). Re - establishment of monuments for centerline - tie - related nails , tags , and tie - outs upon completion of construction . |
