EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS : Contractor must provide all tools and supplies to clean the ceramic tile floor and wall surfaces , including grout lines . All equipment shall be in good working condition . Hard surface tools : Only Hydro - Force SX12 and Hydro - Force SX7 , or approved equal ( see substitution request form ), tile and grout tools will be used . Contractor shall have in their possession prior to submitting a bid , no less than one ( 1 ) truck with a hot water carpet extractor permanently attached . Truck mounted unit must be capable of producing continuous 220 - degree water at no less than 1200 psi measured at the pump . Contractor must also provide an ample vacuum and pressure hose to access all areas of a large three - story municipal buildings . Portable units will not be allowed . CLEANING CHEMICALS AND WORK DETAIL : Cleaning Solution : Group Devil ( manufactured by Matrix ) or approved equal ( see substitution request form ). All manufacturer and OSHA safety procedures and recommendations must be followed . Pre - spray all areas to be cleaned . Allow ample dwell time . Clean areas with approved floor / wall tool . Adjust pressure so not to injure tiles , masonry or epoxy type grout . Do not allow water to accumulate on floor surfaces . Water left on floor can seep down to lower floors and cause water damage . Finished areas will have a uniform appearance free from dirt and debris . Contractor must leave all counters , mirrors , fixtures , partitions , dispensers , ceilings and carpet free of water , moisture , spots , soap residue and debris . Any items moved by the Contractor during work , must be returned to location by the Contractor , ensuring the facility is ready for business .
