General Description • The Contractor shall furnish all labor , materials , equipment , supervision , and incidentals necessary to remove and replace existing chain link fencing systems in kind , as specified herein . All work shall be completed in a professional manner and in accordance with applicable codes , safety regulations , and industry standards . Work Area • The work includes fencing located along the south property line , bullpen area , and outfield area of the athletic field . Exact fence alignment shall follow existing fence lines unless otherwise directed by the Director of Maintenance , Operations and Facilities . Fence Structure and Posts • Install commercial - grade chain link fencing supported by : • 30 ' x 30 ' x 30 ' x 18 ' high structure utilizing 4 - inch diameter posts • Posts shall be galvanized steel , set in concrete footings sized per industry standards and site conditions • All posts shall be plumb , level , and properly aligned Chain Link Fabric • Provide and install 1 5 / 8 - inch , 9 - gauge galvanized chain link fabric throughout the project • All fabric shall be securely tensioned and fastened using commercial - grade fittings South Line Privacy Fence • Remove existing fencing as required and install approximately : • 300 linear feet of 6 - foot - high privacy chain link fencing • Include privacy slats ( commercial - grade , UV - resistant ) • Install top and bottom rails • All components shall be galvanized steel Bullpen Area Fence • Provide and install approximately : • 176 linear feet of 6 - foot - high chain link fencing • No privacy slats required • Galvanized steel posts and fittings • Fence shall match existing adjacent fencing in appearance and configuration Outfield Privacy Fence • Provide and install approximately : • 300 linear feet of 6 - foot - high privacy chain link fencing • Include privacy slats
