CHILLER REPLACEMENTS - MECHANICAL : • Remove chilled water supply and return piping at the chiller back through isolation valves . • Load chillers onto Dothan City Schools vehicle . They will haul them off ‘ • Highlands and Slingluff : Include removal of abandoned pumps in demolition . They are located in mechanical rooms on site . • Provide and install new chilled water isolation valves . Prepare for connection to new chiller . o ( 2 ) for each chiller — new and existing chillers . ( 6 ) chillers total . ( 14 ) valves total . • ( 4 ) valves for Carver 9 chillers • ( 4 ) valves at Kelly Springs • ( 2 ) valves at Highlands • ( 4 ) valves at Slingluff • Install ( owner - provided ) automatic isolation valves for new chillers at Carver 9 only . o ( 2 ) valves at Carver 9 • Install new piping wells for new temperature and Dp sensors in existing chilled water piping . o Carver 9 has existing temp sensors to be relocated . • ( 2 ) temp sensors on CHWS and CHWR • ( 4 ) Dp sensors at each chiller ( 2 at each chiller ) o Kelly Springs • ( 4 ) Dp sensors at each chiller ( 2 at each chiller ) o Highlands • ( 4 ) Dp sensors at each chiller ( 2 at each chiller ) o Slingluff • ( 4 ) Dp sensors at each chiller ( 2 at each chiller ) • Install new chiller in the same location and remove the chiller . Include unloading and rigging for setting chiller . • Reuse existing chilled water supply and return piping with modifications to connect to new chiller . • Install new pressure and temperature gauges on piping at each chiller . • Provide insulation and aluminum jacketing on the exterior of insulated piping . • Provide new heat trace as needed for additional piping required for new chiller configuration .
