The purpose of this invitation is to receive firm bid prices from which the Buffalo Trace Road Commission ( hereinafter BTRC ) can award price contract ( s ) for Chip and Seal to successful bidder ( s ) for furnishing any part of the bid specifications during the Contract period of April 15 , 2026 through April 14 , 2027 . PRICING A . The Vendor shall provide bids on the attached bid form for the following materials and labor per square yard : 1 . initial single seal over gravel 2 . single seal over blacktop 3 . initial double seal over gravel 4 . double seal over blacktop B . The Vendor shall state the unit price by square yard for each of the items in No . 1 as follows : 1 . 1 - 10 miles 2 . 11 - 30 miles 3 . 31 or more miles C . The Vendor shall base bids on the following volumes : 1 . single seal treatment a . . 20 -. 35 gallons asphalt per square yard b . 20 - 25 pounds # 8 rock per square yard 2 . double seal treatment a . first application 1 . . 20 -. 30 gallons asphalt per square yard 2 . 25 pounds # 8 rock per square yard b . second application 1 . . 30 -. 40 gallons asphalt per square yard 2 . 10 - 15 pounds # 9 rock per square yard |
