Description | A . The work specified herein includes removal and disposal of the old unit , furnishing and installing all equipment and materials necessary to provide the owner with a complete chlorine vapor scrubber system . The system must be a completely packaged unit , pre - assembled , piped and wired , and include a scrubber , demister , pump , fan , and controls , and is factory tested with water prior to shipment . Chlorine leak detectors are specified elsewhere and are not part of these specifications . The complete scrubber system shall be a " unitary " single piece construction . B . ( Alternate A ) The work specified herein includes removal of the old unit and storing the unit at an onsite location to be disposed of at a later date by the city , furnishing and installing all equipment and materials necessary to provide the owner with a complete chlorine vapor scrubber system . The system must be a completely packaged unit , pre - assembled , piped and wired , and include a scrubber , demister , pump , fan , and controls , and is factory tested with water prior to shipment . Chlorine leak detectors are specified elsewhere and are not part of these specifications . The complete scrubber system shall be a " unitary " single piece construction . See more |
